Young Activists

Beit Yisrael takes part in cultivating growing circles of driven young leaders set on a mission of social activism. Through their work in various sectors, these young men and women are committed to bringing real change to Jerusalem and to Israeli society as whole. Kvutzat Reut operates a variety of frameworks in support of young people who seek a platform for building lives of meaning and purpose.
Our Young Activist programs are open to post-IDF alumni of Mechinat Beit Yisrael as well as to like-minded peers from all over Israel at different stages in life – university students, young families, emerging communities, and people simply looking to find their way.
Our programs for young activists provide an opportunity for Mechina alumni to strengthen their connection to the ideas and people they encountered in Mechinat Beit Yisrael, and serve as a gateway for others to join the Beit Yisrael lifestyle. Participants engage in social activism in Jerusalem and the periphery, as well as in intensive study of Jewish texts that hold contemporary relevance and lead to action in the real world.
